Banking crisis, what banking crisis?

Sol Kerzner, South Africa’s hotel mogul, will build an even more luxurious hotel adjacent to the recently completed 1,539-room Atlantis The Palm on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The second theme hotel will be called The Cove at Atlantis The Palm, reported a Holtzbrinck publication in Germany today.

The resort Atlantis The Palm, which cost Kerzner and his partner $1.5 billion, will be officially opened on 20 November with a Kylie Minoque concert – 5 months ahead of schedule, despite the fact that a fire broke out in the lobby in September.

The Atlantis The Palm boasts 17 restaurants, is built around a huge aquarium with 65,000 fish (including dolphins and sharks). Room rates start at €535 per night and rise to €5,000 for one of the two 165 sq meter underwater suits.
