Rheinmetall Defence, one of Europe’s biggest suppliers of land forces weaponry and majority owner of Denel Munitions, has moved its head office to Unterlüss in the northwest of Germany, to be closer to NATO training bases and other military forces, Defense News reported.

Rheinmetall Defence consists of six divisions, of which two are now stationed in Unterlüss, namely the division Land systems and the division Weapon and Munitions. South African Shaun Liebenberg, ex-CEO of Denel, joined Rheinmetall Defence on 1 July this year as head of international business development.
