The pleasures man can indulge in…
It takes beer brewer SABMiller 4.8 litres of water to produce one litre of beer. And, the estimated average for beer brewers is 5 litres!
I wonder how many people would stop drinking beer (or at least cut down on their consumption), if this fact was widely known…
At least in Germany many would do that. Of course, the big question is how much water is needed to produce a litre of wine (or alternative drinks). Probably not less. Maybe even more.
And man has to do, what man has to do. So, maybe we’ll just have to keep on drinking beer – and keep on sticking it to mother nature.
