Raats Chenin Blanc gets write-up in WSJ
Look who got a write-up in the Wine Notes section of the Wall Street Journal today…
In a tasting of “the new vintage” (for the southern hemisphere that was 2008) the two writers (Dorothy Gaiter and John Brecher) mentioned three SA wines. Their “absolute favourite” was the “Original” Chenin Blanc “Unwooded” from Raats Family Wines; “also nice, as usual” was Ken Forrester’s Petit Chenin Blanc and the third mention went to the Mulderbosch Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé, which was “criminally inexpensive” at $10 per bottle.
