Jamie does Bordeaux

UK wine blogger Jamie Goode took a flip in a helicopter over Bordeaux last week. He shot a short video from the air. I looked at it and thought: What a non-starter (against the Cape winelands), as far as the natural beauty is concerned. 

Take a look and see if you can find anything beautiful about the place.

(I know, I know…a Bordeaux is for drinking, not for looking at.)

South African winemakers put in a respectable showing against the “best of the rest” at the 8th MUNDUSVini International Wine Awards held in Germany from 29/8/2008 to 7/9/2008. Depending on how one looks at the results, one could even say South Africa and France were the star performers of the global wine competition. [Read on]
